some things wont work

I think this is fairly simple to explane.

When i hit the 'play' shaped start button, to resume a torrent, it wont start downloading, but others will.

any idea how do get that runnin again?

With what little info you posted, there is nothing we can do to help you.

After you have learned a bit about how bit torrent works, it is likely you will have your answer, or at least know what question to ask.
