guseldorph
ok. i'm getting only local connections. i set up exceptions for my listening ports in windows firewall in both the exceptions and advanced settings windows. i've been at this for about two hours. i do not have a router, only a cable modem (Ambit Model No U10C018). it's telling me that it is not a router, and there are no port forwarding options in the 192.168.100.1 menu. GRC told me that my port is still running stealth. i've done just about everything i can find to do on this extremely helpful website and nothing has worked. please, please, please help me. reese edit: nevermind. but i can't figure out how to delete my post. sorry. Dark_Shroud
Ok, first are you using XP sp1 or sp2? Now make sure you have your local area network set up to "automatically obtain IP address." Your gateway should be set to auto aswell In BitComet in Preferences > Advanced > Connection Make sure you have the box "Enable NAT/Firewall Configuration in ICS/ICF checked. Make sure the box to "remove Port on NAT/Firewall" us unchecked.
