the_muttster
'Lo. I upgraded to version 0.77 as it was showing as the latest version from download.com. The "Time Left" column refreshes every second but the time shown varies wildly from 19 minutes to 23 hours! System is WinXP SP2, upgraded from 0.7 to 0.77 overwriting previous install. kluelos
Unless you're one of the unpaid beta testers, you should stay with stable versions of BitComet (currently 0.70) and not upgrade except to a later stable version. Torrent download rates vary tremendously as the swarm composition and connectivity is always in flux. It's nothing at all like downloading from a file server. seishin
err.. I've got 18GB left do download and the "time left" says 22h.. so i must be downloading at 2Mbit/s.. so why the "Dl speed" shows 20kB??.. and you should stay with stable versions of BitComet (currently 0.70) well I think that when on the downlaod page there's a "Latest Offical Release" header it's shouldn't be beta release..
