bitcomet shuts off when i log off

Hi fellas

i recently reloaded my OS....

and i noticed when i switch off my monitor alone b4 going to sleep for downloads to proceed....when i open again after 7-8 houirs.....my BC has not progressed any further and it opens only then.......i know it is a prob with my pc settings....but can anyone help me....usually i didnt have this prob b4 i formatted my hdd and reloaded my OS

Your system is probably suspending tasks when there's no action with the mouse or keyboard for a while. Check your BitComet preferences under the Appearances tab and check "Avoid system entering suspend mode". Then right-click anywhere on your empty desktop, select Properties, and look at the screen saver tab on your display properties. At the bottom you'll see your power-saving settings. Explore this and set your system not to turn off your hard disks or enter standby. You can set your monitor however you like, but if you habitually turn it off yourself, you probably want to tell it not to suspend that either.
