beeman Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Have just downloaded the latest version and have a major problem, just hoping someone from BitComet is 'looking' in. My experience with Forums is not good, I generally fail to get a reply! :( I installed the 0.79 over the top of an existing install and everything died, click on anything it fails to move. Tried uninstalling and re-installing clean, still nothing. Uninstalled, deleted the downloaded file, re-downloaded a new file and re-installed still nothing works. There are a number of other problems. The help/faq link on the home page gives a bad request error. The support form on the contacts page is also not working. The UnUsual Suspect Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Hi, It is likely that your firewall is blocking your new version. This is a new completely new client, so your existing firewall rules won't apply to this version. In any case, I recommend you download and install version .70, unless you are sure you want to use the new client, since it still does have some problems.
