a snail moves slower than this

I am downloading two 5 gb files and the download speed is ridiculous between 1kb/s and 11kb/s but mostly nearer towards the 1kb/s. It frustrating me to no end. :blink: :blink: How can I increase the speed? :unsure:

I have avg and zone alarm firewall along with avira antivir if that helps.
