Help with downloading

I just added a Netgear WPN824 Router and since then it seems that my downloading speed will be normal at the start but will eventually drop and hover at 0 while my upload speed stays at a normal rate. I downloaded 70% of a movie at normal download speeds and now it has dropped to 0.
