defender90
Does bitcomet support this feature? some p2p program does, but i'm new to bitcomet. i want to download large size of game file (normally 3GB ++).. that would take ages. I presume direct connection should boost things up,but HOW? Edited December 13, 2006 by Dark_Shroud (see edit history)
kluelos
Please don't fiddle with font sizes that way, it's quite painful to read. Bittorrent does not support direct one-to-one transfers. There were a lot of ways to do this already, and the world didn't need another one. Bittorrent is a many-to-many file transfer protocol that won't work efficiently for one-to-one. It could conceivably be done but the constraints would mean that the transfer would take forever. It's just the wrong tool for the job. You are better off doing such transfers via ftp, or in pieces using email, or almost any other alternative.

Just about every Instant Messenger program on the planet has 1:1 file transfer capabilities.
