sirio007
What does "Unrecognized attempt blocked from 212.121.2.2 to 2121212122(IP) TCP (Port Numer)? am I not port forwarding correctly? Is this a message from my router. These logs are in my network logs from my router. I am only getting local for my initiations no remotes, could my ISP be blocking this port? kluelos
It's traffic from somebody in the vicinity of Lincoln, in the UK. If that's you, it's no biggie. If it's not you, your firewall's doing its job. If you're not getting remote-initated connections, then you probably have a firewall blocking your listen port. Most ISP's don't firewall their customers, but it does happen in unusual situations. It's more likely to be your own firewall, though. You'll need to set up your router to forward your BitComet listen port through its firewall. If you're also running a software firewall like XP's built-in one, you'll need to disable it. One firewall (the router's) is plenty.
