Carlos4x4
Hello, I have proven the TorrentStorm, BitComet, Shareaza, uTorrent and I remain with BitComet, but I have doubts with respect to the following thing: When I execute BitComet, the Norton Security it informs to me that the BitComet is trying to communicate with (UDP): Remote: 239.255.255.250:1900 Local: localhost:4964 What means this one UDP message? I must allow or deny this connection? Carlos
kluelos
BitComet uses UDP to connect to the DHT network, so yes, you should allow it to do so. If you don't want to use DHT, then you should disable it in the preferences rather than blocking it at the firewall, and the messages should cease. Dark_Shroud
I don't understand your first comment about the clients. But anyway all types of DHT use UDP.
Carlos4x4
Thanks, kluelos. Dark Shroud, throughout the centuries I have used several clients, the best for me are BitComet and uTorrent, but I prefer BitComet.
