Cant install 1.97 as anti virus objects to other software in the download file.
I skip all addons so just want a file with bitcomet. No adds or addons.
That’s a known issue - you have to turn the A/V off, install and then restart the A/V. You don’t have to install the other apps; just decline them when offered
The problem is that almost every A/V app objects to the bundling software (there's no virus, but it just doesn't like the behaviour)

I think you are asking about a failure to install - you have to turn off Anti-Virus (Windows Security, etc) during the installation
I would also suggest you download and install BitComet 1.98
