Sharyade’s answer really wasn’t bad, and did get the essence of the system correctly. He presumably has the experience to assemble a coherent bug report. and he seems reasonably fluent.
Is frafrz a duplicate account of his? What’s going on with this?
Ok, I’ve asked Chongka and Sharayde to send me their CometID names.
I agree with your thoughts about these two, the latter is surely a better choice, but since we had expected to accept a number somewhat less then 100, and so far have only found 2 that are acceptable… so I think we can deal with any shortcomings.
Also, if we feel they aren’t providing any useful feedback, we just won’t renew them after the first 30days, so we can look at it as a trial run, and we’ll keep the testers that are most helpful, and drop the one’s that aren’t.
Is the Beta Testing still going on or needing some more people to help? I’ve been an active user for the past year on bitcomet and I have 25 years experience in troubleshooting programs and hardware. I just recently joined the Forums and haven’t posted much but, I do know what I’m talking about. Let me know if you still need help.
I am interested in being a beta tester I do meet all of your qualifications. Currently I hold A+, Network+. MCTS Windows 7 Configuration, MCTS Certified Technology Specialist Certifications
We will likely be adding more beta testers soon, but at the moment we have enough issues currently being worked, as soon as we can move on, we’ll add some more testers.
I would be most interested in **beta **testing the **anonymous **feature, or any testing that makes the internet safe and more **secure **for users, I have more than 25 years of IT experience, I have used everything from **ftp **sites to the **Warez **sites in their hey!-day, to emule, and it would be nice to see bit torrents, remain forever the ultimate download sites, but they need to be better protected, as well as the users. I do have a flaw though, I am a software hoarder, so I do use bit torrents and others a lot.
Oh Yeah! My first OS was Logo at the school, after that can´t stop.
I’m IT PRO for more than 27 years, Bit Comet User since 2008 and Senior Director (Executive President) in a multinational BPMS Software Factory for telecom & media. Also, can speak, read and write in Portuguese, Spanish and American English. MS and Intel Partner Network, etc., etc… BTW, if you need more about of my profile info, just contact me, because also I was in a few quick starts in the two first companies for Internet (home banking security) and Cellular (sales & content media) companies whit AT&T and GTE Mobilnet.
But with the next to inexistent feedback on the development of VIP/VIPA at current time, both generally speaking and as far as feedback to all the findings posted by beta testers, I don’t really see what he (or anyone else for that matter) could do to help.
Until there is some clear statement concerning the progress of work on VIP/A or at least clear indication that the randomness in which different tasks choose to work or freeze in “preparing channel” mode has seriously decreased, we seem to be stuck in Wonderland here. Nor do we know what else to look for as the problems that were reported so far (mainly tasks freezing in “preparing” mode) don’t appear to be solved yet.
[Pointless, obnoxiously large attachment deleted. This issue has nothing whatever to do with anonymous download and is posted in the wrong forum. Please watch where you post, and do not include irrelevant or large graphics. - Mod]
I have been using bitcomet for about 6 years and can navigate preety well in this inviroment. I would love to be a beta tester. My email is rXXXXXX@yahoo.com and I am John
John, I hid your email address from public view. At the moment we aren’t adding more testers, but expect to in the near future, so we’ll contact you when testing resumes.

I agree completely, and am just backing off on the testing until development can get past some of these issues, then we’ll resume.
