I have found a torrent on TPB that is called “BitComet Accelerator” - does anyone know about this and is it really a help in DL’ing faster?

Those are traps. They’re just loaded with spyware. There are only two ways to make bittorrent in general faster. First optimize your settings and second, get a faster connection.
