My Bitcomet 0.75 doesn’t work anymore, it says cannot listen to port:#####, how do I fix this.
The preference page has not been changed, it is in it’s default setting, is there a problem with the connection?
I’m currently dling files on Utorrent, but cannot get Bitcomet up and running…

If it says that it cant listen on port XXXXX
that means either something is already using that port currently
or your software firewall is completely denying Bitcomet access to that port
I’ve seen this happen when somebody has inadvertently started a second copy of BitComet running. The first copy has already grabbed the port.
It can happen when BitComet is set to automatically start with windows, but someone doesn’t realize it’s already running and tries to start it again.
