I use BitComet 2.19 (Mac OS 12.7.6 Monterey) and over the past 2-3 months, the app quits by itself a minute or so after I open it. I sometimes can stop some of the tasks after the app launches OK, but on the last two times, when I have tried doing this, a yellow dot appears next to the tasks I have chosen instead of grey. Then the app quits.
In the past, I have had over 2000 tasks running, without any trouble. Now, I can barely get anything over 500 tasks before the app quits. When I do get the app to run OK, I then add a task or two at a time, over 10-15 mins, and then keep doing that over the next 3-4 hours. I have never gone over 800 tasks since the app started malfunctioning.
I don’t know what the problem is or why it has happened recently. I have 32GB memory and plenty of hard disk space (hundreds of GBs).
