Dentro del bitcomet pongo el usuario y la contraseña en CometID y se queda en iniciando sesión de forma permanente sin hacer nada.

Con W7 64 bits y usando la última versión estable de BitComet 64 bits. Con una versión algo antigua de 32 bits pasaba lo mismo.

Si pongo una contraseña incorrecta le da igual se queda en Iniciando Sesión con el icono en gris para siempre.

When using BitComet, I enter the username and password in CometID, and it stays ‘initiating session’ permanently, without doing anything.

[i have] Windows 7 and am using the latest 64-bit stable BitComet version. With a somewhat older 32-bit version, the same thing would also happen.

If I enter an incorrect password, it doesn’t seem to matter - it remains “Initiating Session” with the gray icon, forever.

Ahora, se sincero, ¿no necesitarías mucha más información detallada (¿he cambiado la cerradura, recientemente? ¿es una llave nueva/copia? ¿siempre he tenido el mismo problema, o ha ocurrido, tras hacer algo?), para poder ayudarme?

Pues lo mismo pasa con tu post. Necesitamos saber qué ha cambiado, desde la última vez que sí te funcionaba, ya que el único que lo puede saber eres tú.

Imagine the following scenario:

When I insert the key into the lock, my front door doesn’t open. When I used an older key, the same thing would happen. If I try using another key, the situation remains the same.

Now, be honest, wouldn’t you need a lot more detailed information (Have I changed the lock, recently? Is the key new/a copy? Have I always had the same problem, or has it started after doing something?), in order to help me?

Well it’s the same thing with your post. We need to know what has changed, since the last time that it did work for you, as you are the only one that can know that.

No, nunca me ha funcionado. Que yo sepa no di a entender que me haya funcionado alguna vez.

La cuenta de cometid la tengo desde ayer. El único problema que tengo con el bitcomet es ese. El resto funciona perfectamente.

La versión de 32 bits era la 1.23 (que fue donde lo probé y no funcionaba). Ahora con la 1.31 de 64 bits le ocurre lo mismo.

Conexión ADSL2+ con router COMTREND AR-5387. Antivirus Avira Premium 2012 y firewall COMODO. Windows 7 ultimate.

I’ve had the CometID account since yesterday. The only problem that I have with BitComet is this one, the rest works perfectly.

The 32-bit version was1.23 (which was where I tried it and it didn’t work). Now, with the 64-bit 1.31, the same thing happens.

ask him to verify if he can log in at cometID.com. Also check if he’s using any IP filtering apps like peer guardian, that could block connections to cometID.

Sí, la página de cometID.com me funciona perfectamente desde el firefox.

No, ningún programa. Abrir todos los puertos en el router desde el 1 al 65000 tampoco soluciona nada.

If CometID works perfectly in Firefox, then this is not a network issue.

The connection to CometID inside the BitComet client is done, basically, via an ancient version of Internet Explorer. It’s those settings that are more likely to bear fruit. These are the same settings found under the Internet Properties control panel. You should check these, and particularly the advanced settings, to see if you can find a setting that might be blocking access to CometID for any reason. If you do, try flipping it to the other state and try connecting again.

Si CometID funciona perfectamente, a través de Firefox, entonces no es un problema relacionado con la red.

La conexión a ComeID dentro del cliente BitComet se hace, básicamente, a través de una versión antigua de Internet Explorer. Son esos ajustes los que probablemente sean la causa. Éstos son los mismo ajustes que se encuentran en el panel de control de Propiedades de Internet. Deberías mirarlos y, en particular, los ajustes avanzados, para ver si puedes encontrar alguno que pueda estar bloqueando el acceso a CometID, por alguna razón. Si lo encuentras, intenta cambiar su estado (a lo que sea su ‘opuesto’) e intenta conectarte, de nuevo.

Por defecto Internet Explorer 9 solo tiene activo SSL 3.0 pero no el 2.0 (al menos en mi caso). Como me dijiste sobre algo que estuviera bloqueando el acceso debido a que bitcomet usa una versión antigua de Internet Explorer fue añadirlo y conectar al instante.

For default Internet Explorer 9 just has checked SSL 3.0 but no the 2.0 (at least for me). As you said me about something blocking the access because bitcomet uses an ancient version from Internet Explorer I checked the 2.0 one and bitcomet connected right away.

By default, IExplorer 9 only has the SSL 3.0 enabled and not 2.0 (at least, for me).

Since you told me that something could be blocking the access, due to BitComet’s use of an old version of IE, all that I did was enable 2.0 and it connected instantly.
