como sedear un archivo movido

no se como se dice en espanol pero quiero seeding seedear un juego que descargue de demonoid pesa 7.5 gb lo que paso es que lo termine de bajar

lo estuve seeding algunos dias, pero se me ocurrio mover el iso a otra carpeta para abrirlo con un programa de discos virtuales y posterior mente instalarlo porque no tenia espacio en el disco duro para copiarlo

pasaron algunos dias y se me olvido que lo habia movido y abri bitcomet para seedear el juego y note que lo estaba descargando otra vez, asi que lo detuve abri la carpeta contenedora y recorde que habia movido el archivo a otra carpeta, asi que lo volvia regresar a la carpeta original creada por bitcomet pero lo ignora y lo trata de descargarlo completlo otra vez.

lo que quiero es volver a seedear el archivo sin tener que descargarlo otra vez ya que son 8 gb y es mucho volver a descargarlo todo.

I don’t know how it’s said in Spanish but, I want to seed a 7.5 GB game that I downloaded from Demonoid.

What happened was that I finished downloading it and I seeded it for a few days. Then it ocurred to me to move the .iso to another folder, in order to open it with a virtual drive program and later install it, as I didn’t have enough space in the HD to copy it.

Another few days passed and I forgot that I had moved it. I opened BitComet to seed the game, and I noticed that I was downloading it again… so I stopped it, opened the ‘containing folder’ and remembered that I had moved it to another folder. I moved it back to the original folder that BitComet had created for it, but it ignores it and attempts to download the entire file again.

What I want to do is reseed the file, without having to download it once more, as it’s 8 GB and it’s a lot to have to download [all over] again.

Si estas completamente seguro de que has movido el juego a la carpeta correspondiente (pienso que al no encontrar dicho juego donde se suponía que estaba, BitComet creó otra carpeta nueva), selecciona la tarea (pero no la actives) y haz clic con el botón derecho. Selecciona “Manual Hash-Check”, para que BitComet escanée el contenido de la tarea en cuestión. Ten paciencia y deja que BitComet compruebe el porcentaje - irá subiendo lentamente desde 0% - 100% y mostrará, de nuevo, la cifra correcta.

Si realmente está el archivo donde debe de estar, BitComet lo reconocerá y mostrará que la cantidad descargada es, en efecto, 100%. (Desde ahí puedes reactivar la tarea y estarás actuando como semilla, de nuevo.) De no ser así, seguramente no lo has devuelto a la carpeta adecuada.

If you are completely sure that you have moed the game to the correct folder (I think that, upon not finding the game where it was supposed to be, BitComet created a new folder), select the task (but don’t start it) and right-click on it. Choose “Manual Hash-Check”, so that BitComet can scan the contents of the task in question. Be patient and allow BitComet to check the percentage - it will slowly climb from 0% - 100% and will show the correct figure, again.

If the file is really where it is supposed to be, BitComet will recognize it and will show that the amount downloaded is, in fact, 100%. (From there, you can reactivate the task and you’ll be seeding it, once more.) If such is not the case, you probably have not placed it back to the proper folder.

If you want to change the location that you’re seeding the file from, the procedure is much the same. You just need to substitute “uploading” for “downloading” in your own mind as you adjust things.

Stop the task (or load it in a stopped state from the menu). By default the “download” location will be your default download directory. Right-click on the task and change this individual torrent’s download location to point to wherever the new location is. Perform the hash-check, to make sure that BC sees the files in the proper location, or rather that you are indeed pointing to the right location. Make certain that the task shows you have 100% of it downloaded. If it doesn’t then you may be pointing to the wrong subfolder. (This is a little tricky. Play with it a little and you’ll understand it.)

Then simply start the task, and it will begin seeding

Using this method, you can download a torrent, stop it, move it, and start seeding it from the new location while you’ve freed up disk space on your default drive for other things.

Si quieres cambiar el destino desde donde estás subiendo el archivo, el procedimiento es básicamente el mismo. Sólo tienes que sustituir “subiendo” por “descargando” mentalmente, conforme ajustas todo.

Detén la tarea (o vuélcala en un estado parado, desde el menú). Por defecto, la ubicación de “descarga” será tu directorio de descargas por defecto. Haz clic con el botón derecho en la tarea y cambia la ubicación de descarga para esta tarea particular, señalando hacia donde quieras que sea la nueva ubicación. Efectúa el hash-check, para asegurarte que BitComet ve los archivos el la ubicación adecuada - es decir, que estás, efectivamente, señalando a la ubicación correcta. Asegúrate que la tarea muestra que tienes el 100% del archivo descargado. Si no es así, entonces puede que estés señalando hacia la subcarpeta equivocada. (Esto es un poco delicado. Juega con ello un poco y lo entenderás.)

A continuación, activa la tarea y empezará a subir [a modo de semilla].

Usar este método te permite descargar un torrent, detenerlo, moverlo y empezar a subirlo (a modo de semilla) desde la nueva ubicación, mientras has liberado espacio en tu disco por defecto para otras cosas.
