Nope. They would be as fast as anybody else’s who doesn’t use BitComet but another BitTorrent client.
I have searched a lot of forum topics and am unable to find a solution to my problem, which is my internet keeps droppping out when i am downloading torrents, I have the newest version of bitcomet maybe a month old and a using google chrome, and windows 7 any ideas on what maybe my problem would be much appreciated
It’s probably your hardware, Bonzey, but since you didn’t provide any information about it, that’s only a guess. Some routers (do you use a router?) have difficulty with the great number of connections bittorrent makes, and when they get too many, they handle it gracelessly by dropping the connection.

Well, since I asked about a router, it doesn’t, much.
The NB7 is a discontinued product though, so if it is the problem there isn’t anything you can do about it except replace it. If you’ve got a router (you still haven’t said) then you need to concentrate on that. If not, then if you’ve got a friend with a similar connection, see if you can borrow their (different make/model) modem for a short test, to see if the problem disappears.

Its also worthwhile to download and install a different client for another test. If the problem still occurs, then the cause is likely something external.

I never run into such problem
So, Bitcomet will not connect to the server when i try and log in, but! that is not all. I can’t even download anything.. It just won;t ;et anything download, it says there are errors with the trackers and when i update the trackers, it does nothing.
So, any help?

I am unable to log in i’m guessing because of a server connection problem but also i am not able to download anything or start new downloads, any advice or help would be muchly appreciated.

hello yes i am a new bitcommet user and i jus installed dis software and from da gate da status jus says connecting for da 1st hour i had da program open but then thought of limewire i had da same promblem it wouldnt connect to da server so i turned off da firewall and frostwire automaticlly started connecting then was able to download for limewire but i did da same steps i took for limewire to bitcommet and all my status says for da hour or so is connecting but then it said downloading and no kb’s of da download i was downloading a messy marn cd called drapped and chipped out has no file information download has not been saved to my pc not even one second of my music download i can hear on my real player software, i click on da download speed box and click on set global speed and click on 10m cable modem and i have road runner internet service and not sure if it is cable modem or of a dsl type so it would help to know of dat knowledge for furture references,i have and account now wit bitcommet i signed up for a user name which is in use and signed in to da bitcommet network i had da same exact incovinence wit da software called luckywire…i am in need of help of these programs and not sure at all how to handle or to set up da settings of my pc to be able to connect and plug my self in to these networks i ask for ur help and may blessings be wit u thanks
one more thing bout my promblem i turned off all my firewall settings to off and still i have no downloaded file informaiton saved on my pc not one or two kb’s of da file saved or downloaded from dis p2p software so what exactly do i have to do so i can be able to download from these types of software
I’m sorry, I’m not willing to try to understand what your describing. Please read the “READ THIS before posting”, then make a new topic in the appropriate section including ALL the required info.
Also, if someone has an extremely poor knowledge of English, then we accept any attempts to communicate, but I think in your case you think it’s “cool” to use slang, or sms style abbreviations, but this is an international forum and many of our members have difficulty with proper english, and trying to read yours is annoying at best, and completely uncompromisable at worse.
