hi people i have windows i have kaspersky firewall and i allowed the TCP and the UDP connection for the bitcomet and still the DHT network is not connecting i don’t know why can anyone plz help me with this
i would be thankful
i also tried to restart client and disabled the DHT network then enbale it and this didn’t work also
anyway way to solve this problem??!!!

First and foremost, you do not need DHT. It’s an extra, nice to have sometimes, but mostly unnecessary and shouldn’t have been given such a prominent position in the interface, as though it were something important. It’s an overlay network on top of bittorrent that finds peers without using the tracker. That’s all it does, and it won’t help your speed.
The most common reason by far that it doesn’t connect, is that you have a firewall blocking UDP traffic on the listen port. Maybe a firewall you don’t know about, that’s far more common than you’d think.
