Diskchk for file system error build-in

I encountered many times when multiple downloads at fast speed my hard disk overheats and results to data loss. When perform hash check it will be less than 100% even when task are previously completed. The files will also be corrupted. At worst the hard disk will totally fail and have to send for lab recovery. I realized it was due to hard disk overheats and when using diskchk it shows error and have to fix them. Due to the improvements of internet speed and infrastructure I think hard disk mechanical cannot keep up, although it is the cheapest means of data storage. Can bitcomet comes out with some intelligent diskchk function to detect hard disk before overheating? For example pausing tasks when hard disk reaches 50°C and warning lights to be shown, prompting users to cool down the disk or check the health of the disk first. This will helps protect our data and ensure they will not be corrupted.

That sounds more like a computer problem. If a drive is overheating it could be a symptom of a drive about to fail. Overheating can also be caused by poor air circulation over the drives (contrary to popular belief, running the computer with the case open doesn’t help as the air flow is static - it’s when the case is closed that the intake and exhaust fans can shift the air).

I'd be tempted to check your fans for obstruction (dust tends to accumulate)

Bit Comet does NOT monitor computer health - it's not designed to do that but there are apps out there that aredesigned for that purpose.

by the way - internet speed has absolutely nothing to do with the data transfer rate on hard drives
