Would be a nice idea, but would require a lot of time to moderate
I would create a Facebook page because:
---------------------------------------------
**1. We could announce updates regarding BitComet, CometID, and everything related to BitComet and its services. – if CometID is down, we could post on Facebook, and we would most likely get rid of tons of useless posts on these forums.
**2. We could keep a better track of BitComet fans and estimate how many users actually like it. **– the results will be relevant in time, of course
**3. We could answer simple questions more quickly, in real time if possible. **
---------------------------------------------
These would be the main reasons. Others are about to come… ![]()
As for the moderation: Facebook already has anti-spam features. And we have tons of options to prevent posting, filtering curse words, and even blocking unwanted people.
A single person could handle almost everything
I agree with TUUS.
Do you think that people who are overly-zealous of their privacy would consider posting in said page?

Gandalf, are you interested in being the moderator of such a page?

Hmm.. Never taught of that
Well, do you agree? ![]()
i love bitcomet you can configure it to scan your downloads with your anti-virus program never had a virus and love all it’s features it’s the best out there
Hi. This is good idea but just need to manage member time to cover page as admin…
We’ve discussed it and agreed that most users don’t want to advertise to the world and to the anti p2p groups about their use of peer to peer downloading. Keep in mind that people have destroyed their lives because of things said on social media, which is why we in the forum and bitcomet protect your identity, and facebook does not, so there will be no facebook BitComet group.
I was thinking the same thing - especially now with the crazy restrictions in the US where they do check on what you post to faceache and the twits

Yes, and I'm pretty sure the "c" in facebook is intended to be pronounced as a "hard c" (like "k"), not a "soft c" (like "s"), which would make sense since the site has more to do with "fake" than it does "faces"
