i have an action tech modem and i cant find the port forwording setting can someone help me?
If its just a modem then you dont need to do port forwarding.
Assuming your using XP then do this
Start → Run → type cmd and hit enter
that should bring up the command prompt
now type ipconfig and hit enter
Check the IP Address and the Default Gateway
if they are exactly the same then you just have a modem
And to make sure that nothing else is blocking connections,
while downloading a torrent check in the Peers tab and see if any have “Remote” initiations
if there are then your network is set up properly.
if they are all “Local” then something is blocking incoming connections, maybe a software firewall.
