Hi I recently deleted real player from my computer and somehow Mpcstar started to play with sound only. I reinstalled back real player and it is still not working. I am not sure if I deleted important codecs or something else along with the uninstallation. I am currently using version4.9, cable internet connection, belkin router, win 7 and AVG antivirus. yes every type.
Do you get any error messages when you try?
Do other players still work? Which ones? On which types of video?
I don’t get any errors. Now I play avi with win media player and real with realplayer.
Take a look at the FILE INFO (under the FILE menu). MPCStar should tell you what it detects and what it’s trying to do with that. This should point you to the problem.
