hi all im new to this can some one tell me how to get the chat to work i click on options / preferences / chatting / enable chatting buy i cant find any chatrooms can some one help me plz

i’ve never used it but as far as i know the chat rooms are the different torrent tasks. if there are other users with chat enabled on these torrents you have loaded when you click on a particular task in the bottom left corner on transfer windows you will see something like this:
chat(12) this means that there are 12 people with chat enabled and which are loaded this particular torrent too.
but there is a bug in 0.70 and when you click on chat window no matter it shows you chat(12) the window is blank you can’t see any users there.
lol so its the program because thats all i get is a blank window.

Hmm, although at times this chat feature may look like it’s not really working, it’s more to do so with BitComet users not using this feature at all.
Most of us, upon installation tend to unclick the -enable chatting- option.
