Incoming connection on variable ports!

Hallo,

i often receive incomming connections on variable ports using BC. what are they good for? Can i block this connections? <_<

BC is using only one port or not?

If you have a firewall, these should be blocked. If you don’t have a firewall, drop what you’re doing and install one now, then do a virus/spyware sweep of your system with your antivirus, AdAware, and Spybot S&D, and never, ever connect to the internet without a firewall again.

If this is just your firewall nattering at you, then you probably need to get a more useful firewall that doesn’t waste your time on things like this.

Bitcomet uses only one port to receive other-initiated requests for connections.

Bitcomet, like all TCP applications, can receive replies to its requests on many different ports. This is normal and shouldn’t even be raised as an issue by your firewall.
