I think this is a problem with the torrent, not your client, however lets see what our tech support team has to say.
I think the torrent was either not created properly, or was not registered properly.

This is indeed a problem with the torrent file itself.
First thing to try is to open the file in notepad. If should be a lot of garbage. If it is contains a message that you can read, it indicates that there was a problem with the system that you got the torrent from. In any case, delete that torrent file and try downloading it again, or find another torrent with the same material and try that.
