New DVD player

I’m going to treat myself to a new DVD player, I want to be able to play Data discs (divx-avi-xvid).

Can anyone steer me in the right direction as to which are good quality players.Dont want to break the bank though. :lol:

i think it may be a good view as to what you want, oppose to what everyone else likes and well knows you can pick exactly what you want.

philips dvp642 is a great player, if you can find one :slight_smile:

MAGNAVOX MWD 7006 is only $40-$50 at wal-mart and plays divx and everything else i have downloaded!

If you’ve followed the guides on here I can’t help you anymore than they can,they’re more capable than me to help you there.

Went shopping today and couldn’t find any of the models mentioned above,so I bought another Philips dvp.Tried it and it works perfectly,so far. :smiley:
