OK i’ve downloads an avi file, its downloaded fine and i can preview it but when i try to play it i just can’t! I’ve tried VLC and downloaded cccp but nothing appears the line goes arcoss but there is nothing, not even sound!!! 
i am very new to torrents so searched a few places but i just can’t find the answers. :unsure: Please help!!!
Did you try playing it in media player classic?
Are you certain the file has completely downloaded?
Please reply with full file name, including extension.

it says 100 % so i can only assume that its downloaded! I’ve tried windows classic player as well

Yes, apparently you are new to torrents
It appears that you are trying to play the .torrent file instead of the actual file
The .torrent is just a text file that helps you download the actual files
The actual file should be located in C:\Program Files\BitComet\Downloads
