Everytime when i use Bitcomet it will disconnect my internet and take couple minutes to reconnect back.
I use direct connect from my modem to my PC.
My PC OS is Windows 10 and always update the Bitomet version.
Even I change another internet provider still has the same problem.
I have no problem for upload and download speed.
Did you try setting your connection (in windows) to a fixed IP address?

First, open a command prompt and type ‘ipconfig’ (without quotes)
Look for 'network gateway and note the number. It will be in the form of '192.168.254.1
open control panel and go to network and sharing centre - choose ethernet > properties >TCP/IPv4>ptoperties
Use the first three numbers of the gateway and set the last number to anything between 2 and 250. Set gateway to the number from the command prompt (and also for the preferred DNS server if you don't know your current one)
