I accidentally removed a task while it was still downloading in Bitcomet. The files are still on my PC partially finished.
Is there a way to restore the torrent so that it can resume downloading from the point of removal or does it have to start over again?
Open the .torrent file and make sure its set to download to the same place. Then do a hash check and you should be ready to go.
where is the torrent file located? within Bitcomet directory? I thought the torrent file would be removed when you remove the task?
The .torrent file is in the directory where you saved it, if you click on remove task bitcomet removes the task and no other data. Look on your hard drive to find the .torrent file.
