When downloading (via, for example, EZTV or Pirate Bay) to Bitcomet, when I select my external hard drive (used for months now and exclusively as my save path for downloads) a pink bar appears on the Bitcomet “Task Properties” pop-up window as “Disc Space: 0 B Free Space: 0 B.” However, the hard drive is not full; when opening shows correct 931GB total size, and 760GB space available. Checked the external hard drive on another computer, seems to be fine. Uninstalled and reinstalled Bitcomet and works just fine if download to another area of my computer, just not to the external hard drive I’d been using with no problem for a long time. Any suggestions? Thank you.
This could be a problem with your user account settings in windows. The user account must have permissions to read and write on the destination drive.
