Might sound stupid but after you’ve downloaded something how do you then seed
During the downloading process, you are both downloading and uploading. In this phase you are considered a “peer” or “leecher” (technical term that has evolved to also describe someone who doesn’t seed their fair share).
When all your files in the torrent reach 100%, you then are only uploading, and now are seeding.
You can look at your “ratio” column to know how much you need to seed. Basically you should never stop a torrent until your ratio is above 1.000, and if you like what you downloaded, and want to show your gratitude to the community, then keep the files seeding much longer.
oh thank-you I’ve been doing it then was told it was courtesy to leave files uploading for 2 - 4 hours after downloading didn’t realise that was seeding i do now thank-you again
