I’m sure there is something somewhere that answers my question but I just can’t find it. So, I would be very grateful if someone could tell me where it shows how much of a torrent you have seeded/uploaded. Thank you so much
That is the “share ratio” column. A ratio of 1.0 or higher means you’ve uploaded as much as you have downloaded. Generally a ratio of 1.1 or higher is considered the minimum acceptable ratio.
If you don’t see that column you can “right click” on any column and select which you would like displayed.
Sorry, The UnUsual Suspect…I forgot…NO PMS,
If not you, can someone tell me if a share ratio of 25:63 is good or bad? My apologies but I’m a bit blond due to medical problems (believe it or not) lol Thank you
The purpose of the forum is so all can benefit from the discussions, one post can answer 1000 questions.
A share ratio of 25.63 means you’ve uploaded over 25 times as much as you have downloaded, but when you put a colon : between the numbers it means something different, a fraction where 25 parts uploaded for every 63 downloaded or less than 0.5 ratio.
The bitcomet GUI doesn’t use colons so I assume you intended to express a decimal. It’s important to provide accurate info so we can provide accurate answers.
Thank you for your assistance. I don’t see very well so since it’s a Share RATIO I thought it was a colon. Accurate info and answers is very important, but so is good “customer” service and people skills.
Is he being snide?.. Or am I just a bit “jaded” tonight?
Hehe… I can already see the claws coming out… ![]()
but so is good “customer” service and people skills.
“customer” is generally a term used for someone who pays for a product, this is freeware and your “service” is provided by bitcomet users (at will) who volunteer their time.
You’re correct that ratios are usually displayed with a colon, and a ratio of 1:1 is considered an absolute minimum, however a ratio of 25:63 is far different than a ratio of 25.63:1, so it was impossible to accurately answer your question without correcting the way it was phrased.
However if my help isn’t wanted I’ll let someone else help you next time.
I agree, and I’m getting tired of rude people with an exaggerated sense of entitlement
what a d*ck <_<
