Hi everyone, I’m using the latest stable release of BitComet version 1.16. For some reason, I don’t have the torrent share capability where I can see what others are sharing. I double checked that my DHT network is on and the DHT bubble toward the bottom of the BitComet screen is green. Does anyone know why I’m having this probem? Thanks!

Do you mean Torrent Collection under Torrent Share does not exist or that it’s empty?
I used to have an option to see what others are sharing in older version of BitComet but somehow that has been removed?
Do you by any chance have your system locale set to Chinese? If yes set it to other European language.
You are right! That’s the problem. Is there any way I can still use my legacy Chinese apps without clashing with BitComet?
Torrent sharing was disabled in China at the behest of the government. Lack of torrent sharing by itself shouldn’t interfere with your use of any other applications. I am afraid you will have to chose between the locale setting, or torrent sharing, but not both at once.
