so the properties window pops up i go to hit download and it flips to Publisher tab and gives the error of Invalid HTTP URL…anyways dumb luck had me realize that when the http url extended to a second line this error occured…if you stretch out the properties window to make the http url on one line only you can then hit Download and your golden…once you have in on download if you happen to bring up the properties window for whatever reason i get the same message again when i hit “OK”..just have to stretch out the window again to make it fit on first line and its good…
i use Vista 64 home premium if that makes a difference
Please, take the time and bother to give a normal explanation of the problem; nobody likes to guess.
so the properties window pops up
The properties window of what? Is it a task you were trying to make? To download?
… it flips to Publisher tab and gives the error of Invalid HTTP URL…
What exactly is that error? Provide an exact transcription of the error text.
This sounds like a conversation overheard from another table, in a noisy diner. THEY might have some idea what they’re talking about, but nobody else does.
You spoke my mind kluelos.

i face the same problem. here is what happened
tried to download Naruto Shippuden eps 132 recently
steps
1)click on a link to start download the file e.g [Taka]Naruto_Shippuuden_133[480p][980A2E8E].mp4
-
a BC pop-up window will appear titled “Task Properties”
-
Clicking on “Download Now” will automatically lead you to the “Publisher” tab with the “Invalid HTTP URL” msg
-
notice that the URL is in “2 lines” with “mp4” at the bottom
e.g
"http://kakashi.fantasub.com/mirror/files/[Taka]Naruto_Shippuuden_133[480p][980A2E8E].
mp4"
how to fix this?
resize the “Task Properties” window so the URL appear in 1 line and your problem is fixed
e,g below
“http://kakashi.fantasub.com/mirror/files/[Taka]Naruto_Shippuuden_133[480p][980A2E8E].mp4”
OK. Thanks for taking the time to explain the actual error, unlike the first poster. I’ve checked it myself too, and it is indeed a bug
I’ve moved the whole topic here and posted a bug report in the Bug Report section.
