wan light - grey

I have just uploaded and installed the new edition of Bitcomet. On the old version, i had the Wan light green and got very good download speeds. But the new edition will not reset. I’ve tried turning off the firewall and then resetting Bitcomet. This use to work brilliantly with the old version, but not with the new one, it still will not open and says it is blocked.

Can anyone help. Otherwise if I delete the new version of BC and re-install the old one would I loose all my downloads that are listed at the moment?

What version?
and then resetting Bitcomet.
What do you mean by that?
Besides, in the topic title you say your status light is **gray **then in the topic you say your port is blocked (a.k.a. **yellow **light). So which is what? Make up your mind.

You can reinstall any older version over the existing one without loosing your tasklist. You may want to export it first if you want to take an additional precautionary step.
