Websites thinks this is a mobile Device 0.0

Hello all, this problem started a few weeks ago but i ignored it, but now almost all website (excluding this one) thinks this is a mobile and not a laptop, and it is only with CometBird and not with other browsers, Please help :frowning:

So the problem is that you only see the “mobile” version of the sites? If yes go to the mozilla addons site and download the addon called user agent switcher.

already done sir, what’s next ? i get on the options 3 options, Iphone3, internet Explorer (6, 7, 8) and bots

Since this has nothing to do with bitcomet, I’m going to move it to the cometbird section.

Also, it’s the webpage/s in question that are wrongly defining cometbird as a mobile browser, if you could notify them to identify cometbird like firefox, it would fix the problem.

I’ve never used “user agent switcher”, but if you can’t switch to firefox, try IE, probably one of the older versions.

Now go to that add-on’s options window and click new->user agent. The user agent you have now will be auto-filled, delete the CometBird/x.x.x part from it, give it a name, save it. Now go to tools/default user agent(will be something else if you already switched to another) and select your new user agent.
