Where do you turn off delete confirmation in options?

With the new update, when I hit the delete key to get rid of a completed download it pops up a confirmation box asking if I am sure, etc. Where do I go in settings to get rid of this? Thanks

Older versions had double confirmation, the dropdown menu let you select if you wanted to remove task, or task and files, then the confirmation window asked the same.

No matter which we removed, someone would have preferred the other. We can’t please everyone, but a decision had to be made.

GUI Improved: drop-down menu of remove button in toolbar is removed. click remove button with shift key can remove download task and files together

If we had no confirmation at all, we would be getting hundreds of complaints about accidental deletion of files, so I’m afraid your going to have to live with it, or your always welcome to use a prior version.

There isn’t a way to make both options toggle-able (if that is a word) in the options?

Your welcome to post it in feature suggestions, but to be honest, your asking the development team to do even more work on a free product, and why… simply so you don’t have to click a button?

I suspect 90-99% of users want to see a confirmation before something is deleted, and I (personally) would rather see development time be used to make the product work better, or adding features that have a tangible value to users. Thats just my opinion though, and your more then welcome to make the suggestion, we have a section in the forum made just for suggestions.

Is it not amazing what people will complain about???

Free product you say? And here I thought you made money from the ad support in the product and on the website. I must be mistaken

Make money?? Oh no, no. You are right, though, in assuming that you are mistaken. Adverts that promote other applications developed by the same people that develop BitComet cannot really be considered “ads”.

As for BitComet (as well as their world-wide, multi-language support forums) being “free”, I’m afraid that the only people, to date, that have spent their hard-earned money to purchase this product are those that have fallen prey to some ruthless scams.

Snide chit!! <_<

As Cassie said, the only thing that is promoted in bitcomet are it’s own (also free) products. We do ask users to use our homepage to help support development costs, but it’s completely optional.
