Hi, I´ve a conection of 2M and until two weeks ago I was able to download a archive at 100kB/s at least now even doing nothing I can´t go over 15KB/s. I´d would like to know if the problem is with the bitcomet, with my downloads or with my conection? even if the conectiont is working just fine.
since you are running 3 torrents at once you are not able to upload fast enough. the way bittorrent works is you have to give in order to receive. the best thing to do is run just one torrent at a time and don’t start another one until you seed back to 1.0 or more. other than that just have a look at the settings guide posted by bitdave.
Since I first started using Bitcomet I use to download 3 or more files at once but it´s the first time that I can´t go over 15KB/s even when I was conected in a speed of 300 KB I could go over 35KB/s total. Right now I downloading only one file at the speed it´s of 13KB/s.
That usually means that something changed. You’ll need to figure out what, and put it back. Looking through the settings guide will give you some ideas about what to look for.
